William K. Bogache, MD,
FACS
Dr. Bogache is a native of
Myrtle Beach who received
his undergraduate degree
from the University of North
Carolina, Chapel Hill, and
received his MD degree from
the Medical University of
South Carolina in 1983.
He completed general and
urologic surgery training in
1988 at the Emory University
Affiliated Hospitals in
Atlanta, Georgia. In 1988,
he returned to Myrtle Beach,
South Carolina and
established Grand Strand
Urology.
He is
currently on the staff at
Grand Strand Regional
Medical Center, Conway
Hospital, Waccamaw Hospital,
and Seacoast Medical
Center. Dr. Bogache has a
special interest in the
treatment of prostate
disorders including
minimally invasive therapies
for prostate cancer and
benign enlargement,
outpatient treatment for
female stress urinary
incontinence, male sexual
dysfunction, and no scalpel
vasectomies.
Dr. Bogache
is certified by the American
Board of Urology and has
served as Chief of Surgery,
Chief of Staff and Chairman
of the Board of Trustees at
Grand Strand Regional
Medical Center. He is also
a Fellow in the American
College of Surgeons and
maintains memberships in
numerous urologic
organizations, to include
the American Urologic
Association, South Carolina
Urologic Association,
American Association of
Clinical Urologists and the
Sexual Medicine Society of
North America.
Dr. Bogache also serves as a
consultant for numerous
pharmaceutical companies and
medical device vendors. He
is a frequent guest speaker
at many community and
medical
meetings.
