Brian J. Roberts, MD,
FACS
Dr. Roberts received his
Bachelor of Arts degree in
1986 and his medical degree
in 1992 from the University
of Virginia. He completed a
six year residency in
General Surgery and Urology
at the Georgetown University
Medical Center in
Washington, DC in 1998. He
is board certified by the
American Board of Urology,
and is a Fellow of the
American College of
Surgeons. He is active in
clinical research and has
conducted numerous studies
in areas such as prostate
cancer, bladder cancer,
urinary incontinence,
overactive bladder, and
benign prostate
enlargement. He has
received awards for his
research in prostate
cancer. Special areas of
interest include the
laparoscopic and
minimally invasive
treatment of genitourinary
cancers, incontinence,
prostate enlargement, and
kidney stones. He
is
a Fellow of the American
College of Surgeons.
